The TopSlip Trek

TopSlip is a natural hideout near Pollachi, TN
The air s fresh n warm... We were 5 in a team. Wasnt enough.. should have gathered more mass! Buses only thrice from Pollachi - Topslip - Parambikulam.

IMPORTANT: 2 wheelers not allowed! No doughnut for drive-crazy boys. I w very disappointed too wen i heard:(

If u r panning to lodge there for a night, U need to book it a week b4 at safer side. We went on a sunday. No crowd till 10.30. Many come in cars n vans. Too few figures that day. We went 2hrs trekking into the woods. A guide name Baby accompanied us. Saw couple of Deers, Giant Malabar Squirrel, Black Monkey, Tamed elephants... He says u can see Beers Bisons n Tigers if u r lucky! Few gls wearing gang-purchased white hats were boarding on 1 of the elephants. One gl in white w cute:)
There s a mess where we had dosa for breakfast. Since we took the 6.15AM bus at Pollachi, v were first that day. Took couple of stills in the trekking. Our team: Rajkumar(me) Ranjith Gautam AbaragithaVarman(twists ur tongue?) MurugaPrakash. The officer couldn't spell Abu's name while filling the form for trekking:) There were many hairpin bends on the way. The govt bus driver had all the fun of driving on the hills:( 2wheelers have to b allowed....
The place is a National Park (Indra Gandhi NP) and a Tiger Reserve (AanaiMalai). We didnt go to Parambikulam. But anyone reading this pl do go. Parambik s inside Kerala border n things are quite coslier there. Could expect more crowd. Tree houses available. Spend a night. it d be memorable:)
